Overall concept design by Vicky Tsi, this room ensemble was a collaboration with several craftsmen, including upholsterer, Tony Wuichet. The large cylinders are each a single unit, and veneered both interior and exterior. The top criss-cross mouldings were laminated from individual layers that were each tapered to produce continuous compound curves that were fastidiously hand carved. Winner of Honorable Mention in Veneer Tech’s Craftsman’s Challenge 2007.
