Done in the art deco and federal style, this desk set uses some of the finest tiger maple veneer. All sliced from the same log, the leaves were carefully book matched with particular attention given to the sequenced match of the drawer fronts, desktop and chair back. The matching solid wood trim accents were cut from one piece of exceptional German curly sycamore. The legs, frames and contrasting trim elements were cut from solid quarter sawn wenge. The chair was upholstered in top-quality Schumacher deco pattern fabric. The entire set is finished in a multi-coat clear hand-rubbed oil/polyurethane blend with a final top application of carnauba wax.
