Using a combination of solid wood, veneer and laminations, this desk derives its look from various intersecting parabolic arches. The drawer pulls were sculpted from the solid drawer fronts and careful grain selection was required to blend the veneered surfaces into the solid. Using the same techniques as the desk, the upholstered chair completes the set. Featured in Woodwork Magazine,1998, Woodwork West Magazine, 1999 and Wood Art Todayby Donna Milach, 2003.
